Perfect for a family 3 night half term getaway
We stayed at Weymouth Bay in a Pristege caravan. We had a lovely quiet location on site. The caravan had modern decor, clean, we were impressed. The latest Covid check in and out process was super efficient. All staff we spoke to were friendly and professional. Local shops were good for supplies and they have an onsite fish & chips van, papa johns, and restaurant. We explored the area in the car and visited: Weymouth town centre and our daughter enjoyed a donkey ride on the beach (£4) / bovington tank museum on a rainy day / we explored Dorchester and visited their dinosaur museum on another rainy day and had lunch out at Dorchester Brewery Sq (Zizzi, Pizza Express, Nandos and cinema) / on better weather moments we visited the lighthouse at Portland, and Lulworth Cove. Just FYI the actual weymouth bay is shingle, not sand, and is quite a walk so if you have a stroller it's tough going even on the stroller friendly route. But there's so much else to see and do.
