Weymouth Bay Holiday Park Haven Holidays
Perfect for a family 3 night half term getaway
We stayed at Weymouth Bay in a Pristege caravan. We had a lovely quiet location on site. The caravan had modern decor, clean, we were impressed. The latest Covid check in and out process was super efficient. All staff we spoke to were friendly and professional. Local shops were good for supplies and they have an onsite fish & chips van, papa johns, and restaurant. We explored the area in the car and visited: Weymouth town centre and our daughter enjoyed a donkey ride on the beach (£4) / bovington tank museum on a rainy day / we explored Dorchester and visited their dinosaur museum on another rainy day and had lunch out at Dorchester Brewery Sq (Zizzi, Pizza Express, Nandos and cinema) / on better weather moments we visited the lighthouse at Portland, and Lulworth Cove. Just FYI the actual weymouth bay is shingle, not sand, and is quite a walk so if you have a stroller it's tough going even on the stroller friendly route. But there's so much else to see and do. I recommend
Stayed in Cheltenham 9 very impressed from the minute we turned up contactless checkin very easy staff all friendly accommodation was very spacious and clean in a very quiet spot on the site so quiet that we even managed to spot a couple of deer on the path outside the caravan/lodge
Just had a week's holiday here, set in beautiful Dorset, the park is v clean, staff very polite and friendly, quiet & well recommended. My tips: The matresses should have plastic covers on them, seeing as their is only one thin sheet. Bearing in mind, how many ppl use the beds. I noticed a few cobwebs, dust on top of mirrors and switches, the windows really needed a clean. Lastly, I cleaned the extractor hood, as it was dusty and greasy. Overall, the caravan was v clean, and had everything you needed. The hot water and heating was excellent too, that was a great perk. Would definitely return.
Just returned from a long weekend on a stay vacation in a standard dog friendly caravan which we could not fault It was a 5 minute walk to get beach and was very quiet would definitely return ! Ernie the dog had a lovely time to.
